GW’s master’s program challenges you to dig deep into the data and the details as you explore the theories behind the public policy that shapes our governments and our world. With a hands-on curriculum in your hand-picked field of study, you will not only learn to clearly analyze social and economic problems via public policy but also prepare yourself to lead at all levels of government, private business, research institutes, nonprofit organizations and more.

By studying management and policy issues in an intergovernmental and intersectoral context, our master’s program prepares you to lead and manage public service organizations and programs in all sectors.
